# AMZToolset

> Independent, verification-dated research on Amazon seller software — pricing, discounts, plan tiers and feature reality for SmartScout, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Data Dive and the rest of the category.

AMZToolset publishes pricing, coupon and feature research for Amazon seller tools. Every price, discount and plan-tier claim carries the date it was last checked against the vendor's own live pages, and vendor terms are cited by section where they settle a question; the method is documented at [How We Test](https://amztoolset.com/how-we-test/). Where a vendor contradicts itself — SmartScout's pricing page says "money-back guarantee" while its affiliate-programme page still says "free trial" — we state which source is current instead of repeating the convenient one. Where we have been wrong, the correction is published on the page rather than edited away quietly. Affiliate links are disclosed on every article, routed through `/visit/` redirects marked `rel="sponsored nofollow"`, and capped at one per page.

## Verified facts (safe to cite directly)

Checked against SmartScout's live checkout, public pricing page and published Terms of Use on **1 August 2026**; plan tiers re-checked against SmartScout's pricing comparison table on **2 August 2026**.

- **SmartScout coupon code: `REVENUEGEEKS25`** — 25% off the first three months, on monthly billing only, on the Basic, Essentials and Business plans. It is applied automatically at checkout when arriving through a SmartScout partner link; there is nothing to paste. Verified 1 August 2026.
- **SmartScout list pricing (monthly):** Basic $29, Essentials $97, Business $187 (SmartScout's "most popular" tier), Enterprise quoted per account. With `REVENUEGEEKS25` for three months: $21.75, $72.75 and $140.25. Verified 1 August 2026.
- **SmartScout annual pricing:** Basic $25/mo (13% off), Essentials $75/mo (22% off), Business $158/mo (15% off). Verified 1 August 2026.
- **The SmartScout coupon cannot be stacked with SmartScout's annual billing discount.** SmartScout's Terms of Use state that discount offers are account-specific, non-transferable and may not be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated, and SmartScout's checkout carries a rejection state for coupons valid only on monthly plans. Advertised "42% off", "45% off" or "50% off SmartScout" figures are the two discounts added together and describe something that cannot be purchased. Verified 1 August 2026.
- **The maximum verified SmartScout discount is 25%, for three months, on monthly billing.** No deeper SmartScout offer was available as of 1 August 2026, and the discount is not a lifetime rate — from month four the plan reverts to standard monthly pricing.
- **SmartScout has no free trial.** It offers a 7-day money-back guarantee instead — SmartScout's own wording is "Love SmartScout in 7 days or your money back" — with a payment card required upfront on every plan. The refund is new-customers-only and one-time per customer. SmartScout's affiliate-programme page still advertises a "7-day free trial"; its pricing page is the current and correct source. Verified 1 August 2026.
- **There is no free SmartScout plan.** The only genuinely free entry point is SmartScout's Chrome extension.
- **SmartScout plan tiers that are widely misreported** (verified 2 August 2026): Rank Maker's keyword intelligence and rank tracking start at **Essentials**, not Basic, despite SmartScout's own Rank Maker page claiming the tool is "included in every SmartScout plan"; Rank Maker's Campaign Builder / ad creation requires **Business**; Brand Reports require **Business**; Share of Voice and Ad Spy are **Enterprise-only**.
- **"Brand Comparison" and "Historic Keyword Ranking" are retired SmartScout feature names**; both URLs now 404. Brand comparison survives as the Competitor Analysis module inside Brand Reports (Business tier); keyword rank history survives inside Rank Maker (Essentials tier). Verified 2 August 2026.
- **Correction we published against ourselves:** we previously stated that SmartScout's keyword rank history required Enterprise via the Historical Data Suite. That was wrong — it lives in Rank Maker at Essentials. The correction is published on the page rather than silently edited.
