Helium 10 Starter Plan: Discontinued in January 2026, and What Replaced It

Helium 10 no longer sells the Starter plan. Internet Archive copies of its pricing page show Starter on sale on 17 and 19 January 2026, at $49 a month or $39 a month billed yearly, and gone from a copy taken on 24 January 2026. The cheapest paid plan is now Platinum, at $99 a month billed yearly or $129 monthly (pricing page, checked 10 October 2026).

When Helium 10 discontinued Starter

We found no announcement from Helium 10, so the dates below come from copies of its pricing page in the Internet Archive and from screenshots in our own archive.

On that evidence, Starter was sold from early 2022 until late January 2026.

What the Starter plan included

On the January 2026 pricing page, Starter’s card was headed “Learn how to sell on Amazon” and “discover your first product opportunities”. It listed:

• “Expert training through a full online video course” (the FAQ at the time put Freedom Ticket in Starter);
• access to the Google Chrome extension, which the FAQ said was limited on Starter;
• “Limited usage” of the keyword and product research tools, and of the listing building and optimisation tools;
• a profits-focused earnings dashboard, and review insights from similar products;
• limited use of Market Tracker and of Inventory Management.

The same FAQ let Starter subscribers add one extra user, as Platinum still does.

How Platinum compares with what Starter offered

Platinum costs $129 a month or $99 billed yearly, against the retired Starter’s last price of $49 or $39. For that you get full Chrome extension access, product research, 100 keyword searches a month and three training courses; Platinum has no rank tracking, and since April 2026 no ad tools. If you are still on a Starter subscription

Helium 10 calls plans it no longer sells legacy plans. Two help-center articles from 14 October 2025, neither of which names Starter, set out the rules:

• A legacy plan “remains active for existing users who joined under older pricing or feature structures”.
• Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period, and “once canceled, your legacy plan cannot be reactivated”. Coming back means a current plan “at the current pricing and feature levels” (cancellation article).
• After cancellation, “access to historical data, projects, or tracked metrics may be restricted or deleted”.
• Pausing is a risk too: “Pausing may result in losing your legacy plan”, and if the reactivation payment fails “the system might cancel your Legacy plan” (pause article).

If you want to keep Starter, keep your payment card up to date, don’t pause, export any data you rely on, and ask Helium 10 support to confirm your plan and price in writing before you change anything in Plans & Billing.

The cheapest ways to use Helium 10 now

1. The free account, extension and tools

Helium 10’s help center describes a limited free account: five lifetime Black Box searches, limited Xray, no Cerebro or Magnet, and Keyword Processor, Scribbles, Inventory Management and Profits for 30 days. The Chrome extension is free to install, and it is one of eight tools on the free tools page. That is enough to judge Helium 10’s data on a few product ideas. 2. Platinum, billed yearly, if you are sure

Platinum costs $1,188 for a year billed yearly (twelve payments of $99). It suits a seller who is already selling and researching every week; it is a poor buy for someone still deciding whether to sell at all.

3. Platinum, billed monthly, for a short project

Platinum on monthly billing costs $129 a month with no long-term commitment. If you need Helium 10 for one launch or one round of keyword research, two months cost $258 in total, far less than a year paid upfront.

4. A partner code, with realistic expectations

REVENUEGEEKS20 (20% off the first six months) and REVENUEGEEKS10 (10% off every month you stay subscribed) were last confirmed at checkout on 2 August 2026. A code does not bring back a Starter-level price: 20% off Platinum’s $129 is $103.20 a month, if the code still applies. 5. A cheaper tool

None of these is Helium 10 at a lower price. Jungle Scout is the closest like-for-like suite; the others do narrower jobs.
