Helium 10 Review (2026): Is It Worth It? Plans, Tools, Pros and Cons
Affiliate disclosure: we may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page. How we make money How we check facts
Helium 10 is a subscription toolkit for Amazon sellers, with Walmart and TikTok Shop support, covering product and keyword research, listings, PPC management, inventory and profit tracking. It is worth the money if you will use keyword rank tracking and Helium 10 Ads, and Diamond is the plan with both: $279 a month billed yearly, or $359 month to month (Helium 10’s pricing page, checked 10 October 2026).
Platinum, Diamond and Enterprise · no free trial · prices checked 10 October 2026 Affiliate link
Platinum, the cheaper self-serve plan, costs $99 a month billed yearly or $129 monthly, and it is cut down: Helium 10’s comparison table gives it 100 keyword searches a month, no keyword rank tracking and none of the Helium 10 Ads features. There is no free trial, and a full refund is available only if you cancel within seven days of your first payment.
Who Helium 10 is for, and who should skip it
Helium 10 fits you if:
- you sell your own brand on Amazon, especially in the US, where Helium 10’s help center lists the most tools, and you want research, rank tracking, listing tools and PPC management under one login;
- Walmart or TikTok Shop is part of your plan: Xray works on Walmart.com, Walmart seller accounts connect to Profits, and the pricing table has a TikTok Shop section;
- more than one person needs access: Diamond allows five extra user logins and ten connected Seller Central accounts.
Skip it, or wait, if:
- you haven’t chosen a product yet. Platinum billed yearly works out to $1,188 for the year (12 × $99), and there is no trial; the free Chrome extension (with limited access on a free account) and Helium 10’s free tools will show you some of the data first;
- your main job is checking a product’s price history before you buy stock: Keepa’s charts do that for free, and Keepa Pro costs €29 a month;
- your main job is seller, brand and category intelligence for wholesale: SmartScout is built around those databases;
- you sell mainly in a smaller marketplace such as Sweden, where Helium 10’s help center lists no product or keyword research tools.
Dropshipping is a special case. Helium 10 helps with the research, but it doesn’t send orders to suppliers, and Amazon allows drop shipping only when you are the seller of record; our Helium 10 dropshipping guide sets out which tools help and where the rules bite.
Helium 10 plans and prices (checked 10 October 2026)
Helium 10 sells three plans. The figures below were read off its pricing page on 10 October 2026 with both billing toggles.
| Plan | Price | Main limits |
|---|---|---|
| Platinum | $99/mo billed yearly (“Saves $360”), or $129 monthly | 100 keyword searches a month; no rank tracking or Helium 10 Ads; 1 extra user |
| Diamond (“Most Popular”) | $279/mo billed yearly (“Saves $960”), or $359 monthly | Rank tracking and Helium 10 Ads, with a 2% managed-spend fee; 5 extra users |
| Enterprise | From $1,499/mo, billed annually only | Sold through a demo; up to 25 extra users |

The rest of Helium 10’s comparison table shows where Diamond’s extra money goes:
- Connected Seller Central accounts: 2 on Platinum, 10 on Diamond.
- Market Tracker: 3 markets on Platinum, 5 on Diamond. My Products: 20 ASINs against 1,000.
- Listing Analyzer: 50 uses a month against 150. The AI-enhanced “Build product listings” row is Diamond-only.
- Inventory management: 40 SKUs against 500. Email follow-up: 5,000 emails against 15,000.
- Managed Refund Service: on both plans, for a 15% fee on Platinum and 10% on Diamond.
- Training: Freedom Ticket and Ads Academy on both; Exit Ticket on Diamond, not Platinum.
Add-ons. Platinum has no keyword rank tracking; the pricing table sells a Keyword Tracker add-on from $19 a month on both plans. Diamond-only add-ons include Market Tracker 360 from $650 a month and the Elite sellers group from $99 a month. There is no Elite plan for sale: the pricing page has no Elite card, and helium10.com/elite/ returns a “page not found” error. The name lives on in that add-on, in out-of-date structured data in the pricing page’s code, and in help-center articles, some edited in September 2026, that still refer to Elite subscribers.
The Helium 10 Ads fee. Helium 10 Ads (formerly Adtomic) comes with Diamond, not Platinum. On Diamond, Helium 10 charges a 2% management fee on all ad spend in profiles set to Managed, with no minimum and no threshold, according to its help center (updated 20 August 2026). At $20,000 a month of managed ad spend, that is $400 a month on top of the subscription. To keep an account out of the fee, set its profiles to Analytics-Only or Disabled before the spend happens. Older write-ups, including some of ours, said the 2% applied only above $20,000 a month; Helium 10’s visible pages no longer say that.
Yearly billing saves $360 a year on Platinum and $960 on Diamond, by Helium 10’s own figures. The toggle says “save up to 20%”; the real saving works out to about 23% on Platinum and 22% on Diamond. Monthly plans carry no long-term commitment and renew automatically.
For every row of that comparison table, plan by plan, see our Platinum vs Diamond comparison, which also works through the choice by seller type; our Helium 10 pricing guide covers prices, add-ons and the history of the retired Starter plan.
Is Helium 10 free? Is there a free trial?
Helium 10’s pricing page lists only Platinum, Diamond and Enterprise, and none of them is free. A limited free account does exist: Helium 10’s help center describes one with five lifetime Black Box uses, no Cerebro or Magnet, limited Xray and some tools for 30 days, and a few Helium 10 pages invite free sign-up. Those free-account limits come from Helium 10’s help center; the searches shown in this review were run on our own paid account, which is on Diamond.
The Chrome extension is free to install, and Helium 10’s free tools page lists eight tools it says you can use without paying, including a keyword tool, a PPC audit, a sales estimator, an FBA calculator and GEMS, a free Amazon and Walmart URL builder for sending outside traffic to a listing.
There is no free trial of the paid plans. The terms (effective 17 August 2026) give a full refund only if you cancel within seven days of your initial purchase, which Helium 10’s help center calls its 7-day money-back guarantee; renewals aren’t refundable. Our page on what Helium 10 gives away free covers the no-cost route in more detail.
Extra users and shared accounts
The pricing FAQ allows one additional user on Platinum, up to five on Diamond and up to 25 on Enterprise, and extra users can be bought as an add-on. Helium 10’s terms limit use to the number of people a license fee has been paid for and prohibit reselling access, so “group buy” services that sell a shared login break the terms. Our page on sharing a Helium 10 account covers the legitimate options.
Pausing, cancelling and discounts
From Plans & Billing you can pause a subscription for one, three or six months. Helium 10 says a pause keeps your historical data, including keyword and market tracking, which cancelling loses; either change takes effect at the end of the billing cycle (help center, checked 10 October 2026).
Yearly billing is the only discount Helium 10 shows on its own pricing page, which also has a “Have a promo code?” field. Our Helium 10 coupon code page lists the two partner codes and the date each was last confirmed at checkout (2 August 2026); we didn’t re-test them for this review.
What Helium 10 does: the tools, grouped by job
The site menu on helium10.com sorts the tools into seven groups (checked 10 October 2026). Here they are by the job you’d use them for, with Helium 10’s own one-line label for each and the plan differences that matter. Our Helium 10 features guide goes deeper, tool by tool.
Product research
- Black Box is the product-discovery tool (“Discover Profitable Products”). The free account allows five lifetime uses.
- Xray (“Analyze Competitor Products”) runs in the Chrome extension on Amazon search, product and best-seller pages, and on Walmart.com.
- Product Launchpad (“Organize Product Research”) is what Helium 10 calls an AI-powered research and launch planner: a keyword roadmap, a budget and stock forecast, and a launch checklist.
In our own account, Black Box’s simple mode asks for up to three categories, a price range, whether the product fits in a shoebox, how much review competition you’ll accept and a monthly revenue target. A search we ran on 12 October 2026 for $20 to $35 products with 200 to 500 reviews listed 500 products, each with its category rank, price, Helium 10’s estimate of monthly sales and revenue, and its rating.

Keyword research and rank tracking
- Cerebro (“Discover Competitor Keywords”) is reverse-ASIN research: enter a competitor’s ASIN and see the keywords it ranks for. When we ran it on 12 October 2026 for a #10 can of Ready Harvest potato flakes, it found 753 keywords with a combined search volume of 1,705,872 (screenshot below).
- Magnet (“Find Keywords for Your Listings”) starts from a seed keyword instead. Helium 10’s help center says Magnet has been merged into Cerebro (6 January 2026), so both kinds of search now run in one tool, which the help center calls “Cerebro (Plus Magnet)”. The menu on helium10.com still lists Magnet separately, but inside our account the tool’s page is titled “Cerebro (Plus Magnet)”, with one search box that takes a keyword or up to 10 ASINs.
- Platinum’s allowance for this keyword research is 100 searches a month, shared between ASIN and keyword searches. The pricing table shows a tick with no number for Diamond, and Helium 10’s plan guide (13 May 2026) lists 300 a day. Both plans include keyword sales, Helium 10’s estimate of the monthly sales attributed to each keyword.
- Keyword Tracker (“Track Keyword Ranking Over Time”) is the rank tracker, ticked for Diamond and crossed for Platinum in the pricing table. Yet the same plan guide still lists 500 tracked keywords for Platinum, so ask Helium 10 before you rely on either.
- Cerebro (including its Magnet searches) and Keyword Tracker show CPR (Cerebro Product Rank): Helium 10’s estimate of how many units you would need to sell through promotions to push a product to the top of the results for a keyword. The current version, Helium 10 says, was tested on more than 1,400 keywords; it is still an estimate.

Our best Amazon keyword research tools roundup sets Cerebro against SmartScout’s Rank Maker, Jungle Scout’s Keyword Scout and three cheaper or narrower options.
Listings
- Listing Analyzer (“Score Your Existing Product Listing”): 50 uses a month on Platinum, 150 on Diamond. Our Diamond account’s counter read “0 of 150 searches used this month” before we ran the report below.
- Listing Builder (“Create AI-Generated Product Listings”). The pricing table’s AI-enhanced listing-building row is Diamond-only.
- Keyword Processor is the tool formerly called Frankenstein, renamed in December 2025.
- Product Listing Converter exports Amazon listings to TikTok Shop; Platinum is capped at 3 SKUs, lifetime.

Advertising
- Helium 10 Ads creates and manages Amazon ad campaigns, with AI and rules-based automation, keyword recommendations and dayparting. Helium 10 announced in February 2025 that it is powered by Pacvue’s advertising technology. It is Diamond and above only, with the 2% managed-spend fee described above.
- Influencer Finder (“Find Influencers for Product Promotion”): 10 uses on Platinum, which Helium 10’s help center describes as lifetime uses, and 250 a day on Diamond.
Operations and analytics
- Profits (“Measure Your Performance”) is built on data from Amazon’s API. Platinum’s plan card calls its version “limited profit reporting”.
- Inventory Management (“Forecast & Manage Inventory”), Follow-Up (automated buyer emails) and Alerts (notifications about listing changes) cover day-to-day operations.
- Managed Refund Service files FBA reimbursement claims and takes a fee on what it recovers. The help center still documents Refund Genie, but the menu and pricing table now list only the managed service.
- Market Tracker (“Monitor Competitor Performance”) follows the competing products in a market you choose. Market Tracker 360 is a Diamond add-on from $650 a month, sold through a demo.
- Insights Dashboard (“View Your Business Performance”) gathers your account’s numbers in one view, and Search Query Analyzer (“Monitor Your Brand Search Terms (SQP)”) brings in Amazon’s Search Query Performance data for brand owners. Helium 10’s comparison with Jungle Scout says SQP data is included in Diamond; the pricing table has no SQP row.
- Helium 10’s mobile app for iOS and Android shows Profits and Alerts. On a plan with Helium 10 Ads it also shows your campaigns, with limited controls: pausing and enabling campaigns and changing bids and daily budgets. Its FAQ says free accounts can install it too, with limited or demo access.
AI agent and MCP
- Helium, Helium 10’s AI agent, launched on 24 August 2026 and is included with Diamond. At launch, Helium 10 said it focuses on analysis and recommendations.
- Helium 10 MCP is Helium 10’s MCP server: it connects AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Codex to Helium 10. Diamond and above include 1,000 calls a month, and extra calls are sold as an add-on at $50 for another 500 a month (help center, updated 6 October 2026). We found no help-center documentation of a general REST API for customers; our Helium 10 API page covers the access options. How the Helium agent and MCP compare with other vendors’ AI tools is in our AI tools for Amazon sellers guide.
Training
- Freedom Ticket, Helium 10’s Amazon selling course hosted by Kevin King, costs $997 on its own and is included with Platinum and above.
- Exit Ticket, a course on preparing a business for sale, comes with Diamond, not Platinum.
- Helium 10 Academy teaches the software in free courses; its certification exam is paid.
Renamed and retired tools
Older reviews mention tools that have since changed. Adtomic is now Helium 10 Ads, Frankenstein is now Keyword Processor, and Magnet has been merged into Cerebro. Misspellinator, Inventory Protector and Trendster were sunset on 30 September 2025. According to the help center (11 June 2026), the Seller Assistant review-request extension is discontinued and Follow-Up is the replacement, though the site menu still lists Seller Assistant. Portals, the landing-page and QR-code tool, no longer has a product page, but the help center still documents it. The Starter plan is no longer sold.
Which marketplaces Helium 10 supports
Helium 10’s help-center market table (dated 10 December 2025) lists 21 Amazon marketplaces:
- Americas: US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil
- Europe: UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, Turkey
- Middle East and Africa: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt
- Asia-Pacific: Australia, Japan, Singapore, China, India
Belgium and Ireland aren’t on it. On its About and pricing pages, Helium 10 advertises “24+ Marketplaces Supported”, and its comparison with Jungle Scout says those span Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop.
Support is uneven, so check the table for your market before you pay:
- The US has the fullest list, and only the US and Brazil get all four Helium 10 Ads ad types the table names (SP, SB, SD and SV).
- Canada, France, Italy and Spain get the US list except Listing Builder and SV ads.
- Germany has no My List or Listing Builder, and Helium 10 Ads covers Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands only.
- Brazil has no Chrome extension listed.
- Sweden lists no product or keyword research tools, and Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Singapore and China list far fewer tools than the main markets.
Our Helium 10 marketplaces guide breaks this down country by country.
Beyond Amazon, Walmart seller accounts connect through an authorized app (the method since November 2025) and feed Profits after a 24 to 48 hour sync; Xray works on Walmart.com; and Walmart Ads accounts can join Helium 10 Ads through a manual onboarding with Helium 10’s support team. The pricing table’s TikTok Shop section includes a profitability calculator, the listing converter, Profits, an influencer finder and MCF Fulfillment, which ships TikTok Shop orders from your Amazon FBA stock. More in our Helium 10 for Walmart guide.
The Helium 10 Chrome extension
The Chrome extension is free to install and puts Helium 10’s research on Amazon’s own pages. On 10 October 2026 its Chrome Web Store listing showed 1,000,000 users and 4.1 stars from 771 ratings (version 8.43.5, updated 28 September 2026); Helium 10’s pricing page claims “860K+” active users. The listing’s key features include Xray, keyword insights, an ASIN and UPC grabber, a profitability calculator, competitor inventory tracking and a supplier finder that checks Amazon demand while you browse Alibaba or Shopify.
Access depends on your account. Per the pricing FAQ, extension access is limited on a free account, with full access on Platinum and above for Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop. Xray’s default Success Score shows two counts for the top ten organically ranked products in a search: how many earn at least $5,000 a month, and how many have fewer than 75 reviews. Helium 10 itself cautions that the score doesn’t tell you whether a product is worth selling.
It only works in Chrome. Helium 10’s help center (9 April 2026) says the extension isn’t compatible with Safari, Edge or Firefox, and on 10 October 2026 there was no Helium 10 add-on in the Firefox, Edge or Opera add-on stores. Our pages on Helium 10 for Firefox and Helium 10 on Safari explain what that means on other browsers, and our Helium 10 Chrome extension guide covers what’s free, the tools inside and installation.
How accurate is Helium 10’s data?
Treat most Helium 10 numbers as estimates, because Helium 10 says they are. Its help center (article dated 30 September 2025) splits its data in two. Profits, Follow-Up, Alerts and Refund Genie use data from Amazon’s API, which Helium 10 calls “actual Amazon data”, although Refund Genie’s refund amounts are estimates. Everything else, including sales estimates, keyword search volume and rank, is Helium 10’s own modeling from data it gathers daily, using proprietary methods.
That matters most when money is committed on the strength of a number. Before you order stock on a sales estimate, check the product’s price history in Keepa. If you’re brand-registered, compare Helium 10’s search volumes for your own keywords with the query volumes in Amazon’s Brand Analytics, which come from Amazon itself. Our explainer on how Helium 10 gets its data goes further.
Who owns Helium 10?
Helium 10 is part of Pacvue, an enterprise platform for marketplace advertising, sales and intelligence; Helium 10’s About page describes it as “Part of the Pacvue Ecosystem”. How it got there:
- 2015: Helium 10 was founded, growing out of the AM/PM Podcast, according to its About page. Its own podcast (episode 100, January 2020) names Manny Coats and Guillermo Puyol as the founders.
- 2020: a May 2020 announcement of an investment in Assembly by Providence Strategic Growth called Helium 10 Assembly’s “most recent acquisition”.
- 2021: Assembly bought Pacvue, a deal announced in October 2021 by Pacvue’s financial adviser, Drake Star Partners.
- 2023: on 27 March 2023 Assembly took the Pacvue name, and Helium 10 continued as part of Pacvue.
Pacvue’s leadership page lists Rahul Choraria as CEO (since 2024). Helium 10’s About page quotes Zoe Lu as General Manager of Helium 10; Pacvue promoted her to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Helium 10 in May 2025. The contracting company in Helium 10’s terms is Pixel Labs, LLC dba Helium10, at an address in Irvine, California.
The ownership shows in the product: Helium 10 Ads runs on Pacvue’s advertising technology, and the iPhone app is published by Pacvue Corporation. The full story is in who owns Helium 10.
Helium 10 alternatives
Helium 10 is a broad suite. If one job dominates your week, a narrower tool can do it for less.
| If your main job is… | Look at | Price, checked 10 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon product and keyword research at a lower entry price | Jungle Scout | From $29 a month billed annually, $49 month to month |
| Seller, brand and category intelligence, including wholesale | SmartScout | From $29 a month billed yearly, $49 month to month |
| Price history before you buy stock | Keepa | Charts free; Keepa Pro €29 a month or €290 a year |
Our head-to-heads compare each one in detail: Helium 10 vs Jungle Scout, Helium 10 vs SmartScout and Helium 10 vs Keepa. The differences that decide it: Jungle Scout’s help center says its system supports only Amazon marketplaces (article dated 11 February 2025), so if Walmart or TikTok Shop is in your plans, Helium 10 is the one of the two that covers them. SmartScout is built around databases of sellers, brands and search terms, and each self-serve plan includes one user, with extra users at $49 each. Keepa is built around price history, and bills only in euros.
For a wider field, our best Amazon seller tools roundup compares nine tools job by job, and our product research tools roundup compares six tools on the job most sellers start with.

Evidence: the pages behind this review
The in-app screenshots in this review come from our own Helium 10 account, which is on the Diamond plan; we took them on 12 October 2026 and blurred the account details.
Every Helium 10 price and plan limit above was read off Helium 10’s own pages on 10 October 2026, and the Jungle Scout, SmartScout and Keepa prices off those vendors’ pricing pages the same day. The comparison-table capture below comes from the Helium 10 check; the Chrome Web Store capture was taken the same day.
The comparison table is the source for Platinum’s limits: 100 keyword searches a month, a cross on keyword rank tracking and on every Helium 10 Ads row, and the 2% managed spend fee on Diamond.

The Chrome Web Store listing shows the extension’s user count and rating as the store records them, separate from Helium 10’s own “860K+” claim.

How we put this review together
We have our own Helium 10 account, on the Diamond plan. On 12 October 2026 we used it to run the searches shown above: a Black Box product search, a Cerebro lookup on one product and a Listing Analyzer report on the same product. On 10 October 2026 we read Helium 10’s pricing page in a real browser with both billing toggles, along with its comparison table and FAQ, the help-center articles linked above, its terms (effective 17 August 2026), the Chrome Web Store listing, Helium 10’s and Pacvue’s company pages, and the Jungle Scout, SmartScout and Keepa pricing pages. Where a description of a tool comes from Helium 10 rather than from our own use, we say so. Our methodology page explains how we verify prices and what we won’t claim.
The Helium 10 button near the top of this page is an affiliate link, and we earn a commission if you buy through it. That hasn’t changed the verdict, which tells sellers who haven’t launched yet not to buy Platinum.
Correction (10 October 2026): this review replaces our Helium 10 FAQ page, which listed Freedom Ticket among Helium 10’s free resources (it costs $997 on its own and is included with Platinum and above) and said extra users start at Diamond (Platinum allows one). It also quoted sales-accuracy percentages that appeared on a December 2024 version of Helium 10’s comparison with Jungle Scout. The current version of that page no longer shows them and we found no published method behind them, so we’ve removed them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Helium 10 worth it in 2026?
It is worth it for an established Amazon seller who will use keyword rank tracking and Helium 10 Ads, which come with Diamond at $279 a month billed yearly or $359 monthly (checked 10 October 2026). Platinum, at $99 a month billed yearly, caps keyword research at 100 searches a month and has no rank tracking or Ads, so sellers who haven't launched yet are better off starting with the free Chrome extension.
How much does Helium 10 cost?
On 10 October 2026 Helium 10's pricing page listed Platinum at $99 a month billed yearly or $129 monthly, Diamond at $279 a month billed yearly or $359 monthly, and Enterprise from $1,499 a month billed annually, sold through a demo. Diamond users who let Helium 10 Ads manage their ad profiles also pay a 2% fee on all ad spend in those profiles.
Is Helium 10 free, or is there a free trial?
Helium 10's pricing page lists no free plan, and there is no free trial of the paid plans. A limited free account exists, the Chrome extension is free to install, and Helium 10 offers free tools such as a sales estimator and the GEMS URL builder. A paid plan is refunded in full only if you cancel within seven days of your first payment.
Can I pause or cancel a Helium 10 subscription?
Yes. In Plans & Billing you can pause for one, three or six months, which Helium 10 says keeps your keyword and market tracking data, or cancel, which takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. If the subscription is already paused, Helium 10's help center says you must contact support by chat or email to cancel it.
Can several people share one Helium 10 account?
Only through official user seats. Helium 10's pricing FAQ allows one additional user on Platinum, up to five on Diamond and up to 25 on Enterprise, and its terms limit use to the number of people a license fee has been paid for and forbid reselling access, which rules out group-buy accounts.
Who owns Helium 10?
Helium 10 is part of Pacvue. Assembly had acquired Helium 10 by May 2020, bought Pacvue in 2021 and took the Pacvue name in March 2023. Helium 10 was founded in 2015, and its own podcast names Manny Coats and Guillermo Puyol as its founders.
